Today is a special day. Not only are the Vancouver Winter Olympic Games well on their way while millions around the world celebrate Valentine's Day, but there are also literally billions of people worldwide celebrating the beginning of spring and welcoming the Year of the Tiger - this is indeed a time for celebration. In line with the festive spirit going around, I thought I'd pay tribute to one of the most amazing years of my life: the Year of Ox.
I have always been fascinated by astrology. I realize that there is much skepticism attributed to it; however, I believe it is naive to disregard the power that celestial bodies can have in human affairs and natural phenomena. After all, just because you can't see something doesn't mean it's not there. Indeed, with a bit of open-mindness and observation, one can easily perceive many of these ever-present effects. One needs only become aware to begin understanding and interacting with them.
